We face the most challenging situation of our lives. Trump is taking the world to the brink of war and chaos, Starmer and other European leaders either appease him or rush to rearm, strengthening the far right.
Revolution! will bring together a brilliant line up of activists, writers and campaigners to discuss the situation and how best to respond. Speakers include: Lindsey German, Ken Loach, Ahmed Alnaouq, John Rees, Juliet Stevenson, Michael Lavalette, Taj Ali, Feyzi Ismail, Michael Roberts, Kate Connelly, Hamza Yusuf, Elaine Graham-Leigh, Chris Nineham, Sophie Johnson, Shabbir Lakha, and more!
There will be panels on 'What's driving Trump?: US Imperialism and the new world disorder', a discussion of 'cultures of resistance' with Palestinian writer Ahmed Alnaouq and actor Juliet Stephenson, a Marxist analysis of the capitalist crisis and a panel on strategies to take on the far right.
Ken Loach will introduce a screening of his classic Land and Freedom, there will be an assessment of the British General Strike on its 100th anniversary and a discussion about the struggle for women’s liberation today. A full timetable will be announced closer to the event.
