About this Event
REAL FIGHTS. REAL STORIES. A BRIGHTER TOMORROW.
Join Fellowship of Men Singapore for RESTORE: Fight for Stability, a charity boxing and Muay Thai event raising support for the proposed Restorative Stability Shelter pilot.
On Saturday, 7 November 2026, fighters, families, community partners and supporters will come together for an evening of action with a deeper purpose: helping men step away from crisis, regain stability and make safer decisions.
Strong men also need support.
WHY THIS MATTERS
A man may urgently need a safe place when:
• Conflict at home has escalated and he is emotionally overwhelmed or at risk of harming himself.
• He is experiencing abuse or violence within the home.
• He has been asked to leave the family home and has nowhere safe to stay.
• He recognises that he may lose control and voluntarily needs to step away before someone is harmed.
When women or children are unsafe, moving them to safety may be necessary. However, if the man at the centre of the crisis receives no meaningful intervention, the underlying pattern of harm may remain unchanged.
He may be left alone with his anger, fear, shame or hopelessness, interacting mainly with the police, social workers or protection services. He may also come to believe that the authorities have simply taken his family away.
RESTORE proposes another pathway where appropriate: safely remove the man from the immediate environment, give him time and space to stabilise, provide structured mentoring, and help him take responsibility for constructive next steps.
This does not excuse harmful behaviour. It creates an opportunity to interrupt it.
THE PROPOSED RESTORATIVE STABILITY SHELTER
Fellowship of Men Singapore is developing a short-term, hotel-based stabilisation pilot for suitable adult men experiencing serious personal or family crises.
Following screening and a voluntary intake process, the proposed support pathway may include:
• A safe stay of up to seven nights
• Daily contact with a trained mentor
• Emotional stabilisation and practical support
• An individual plan for the next steps
• Referrals to suitable professional and community services
• Follow-up mentoring and aftercare
The initial pilot is being designed to support up to 15 men, with a maximum of two participants accommodated at any one time.
The shelter is not intended to replace emergency services, medical treatment, psychiatric care or long-term housing. Anyone facing immediate danger, or an imminent risk of suicide or violence, should contact the appropriate emergency services.
WHAT TO EXPECT AT RESTORE
The planned programme includes:
• Eight boxing and Muay Thai bouts
• Four boxing and four Muay Thai match-ups
• A combination of exhibition, interclub and sanctioned fights
• Fighter entrances and live ringside action
• A headline main event
• The story and purpose behind the shelter initiative
• Community and support-service booths
• Opportunities to contribute to the campaign
• Food, drinks and refreshments available for purchase
The final fight card and programme remain subject to operational and regulatory confirmation.
