You’re invited to the world premiere of A Memory Held Between the Teeth with Ivana Dama, a very personal listening experience heard through bone-conduction lollipops.Ivana will be performing live with custom-built instruments while the audience listens through small lollipops fitted with bone-conduction transducers. Each person will use their phone to tune in to a dedicated radio website carrying the live performance, then connect their phone to their lollipop. When they bite down, vibrations travel through their teeth and jaw and are perceived as sound. Everyone will be listening together, but each person will hear the performance within their own body. Biting down or releasing the lollipop becomes a way to move in and out of the sound.
