Fifteen years ago Jia Sharma moved to Colorado to find herself, and get a bit of space from her sprawling, loud, South Indian Maryland family. Turned out her perfect life was being a beige assistant librarian living a bland, putty-colored life. It seemed ideal until she had a heart transplant. Now she’s suddenly wearing brightly colored dresses, ordering weird, complicated coffee drinks and worse, she's having premonitions and visions. She's beginning to think a certain coffee shop owner's death was no accident. Can Jia figure out who the killer is before time runs out? After the book reading and kick-off, The Rekha Ohal Quartet will also present a set of our all-time favorites--and probably yours too! Songs from Sting, Peter Gabriel, Al Green, Kate Bush, and many more. Relax and enjoy or sing along!
