Join us in Studios 1A1-1A2 on the 1st floor of 129 Roberts Street for an opening reception of “Reflections and Reveries”, a duo exhibition by artists Amy Massey and Elise Okrend.
"Reflections and Reveries" invites viewers to slow down, look deeply, and enter these quiet spaces of contemplation—to wander through mist and atmosphere, follow the movement of line and form, and discover their own reflections and reveries within the work. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.
ABOUT THE ARTISTS:
Elise Okrend is a soft pastel painter whose atmospheric landscapes explore the emotional and transformative qualities of nature. Through mist, shifting light, clouds, and layered forms, her work evokes landscapes that are at once familiar and mysterious, creating a sense of quiet introspection and wonder.
