Come together with kindred spirits at RAINBOW RESONANCE — a *DONATION-BASED* community *SOUND BATH* created by and for *QUEER + TRANS* folks. This "sonic journey for QTies" offers an intentional and accessible monthly space to soften, breathe, and just be. Whether you're arriving joyful, exhausted, overwhelmed, or simply curious, you're invited to settle in, release tension, and let melodic sound support your nervous system. Crystal bowls, harp, and soft guidance create space for relaxation, grounding, and emotional reset.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: Charlie Sebastian Short is a certified sound practitioner, musician, and caregiver based in Portland. His work draws from the Quantum Sound Method, classical music training, and years of supporting both humans and animals with patience and care. He approaches sound healing as nervous system support, using harmonious instruments to encourage rest, calm, and emotional ease. As a mixed-race, LGBTQIA+, and neurodivergent practitioner, Charlie creates an inclusive space where all bodies and identities can access comfort and relaxation.
"There is something profoundly different about resting in a space created by people who understand. I created Rainbow Resonance at @lighthousecommunityyogapdx for my LGBTQIA+ community because many of us know what it feels like to move through the world carrying chronic stress, hypervigilance, and the weight of simply existing. We deserve spaces where our nervous systems can soften without explanation.
Each sound bath is unique. Every gathering responds to the energy of the room and the people in it, so each experience unfolds a little differently and supports whatever you may be carrying in that moment.
Healing doesn't only happen in solitude. There is something powerful about breathing, resting, and sharing space with other queer and trans people, whether you arrive with friends or meet someone new. Community itself can be restorative.
This is a donation-based offering because I want this space to be as accessible as possible while honoring the value of the experience.
