Welcome to my Flute Graduation Recital - Path’s EndFlute and flute repertoire have a long and rich history. While this long history will always be important to acknowledge and understand, so is building upon that history. This recital focuses on pieces for flute from the 20th and 21st centuries; the era of music that resonates with me most.
This recital features three pieces from the 20th Century and two from the 21st Century. Including more traditional pieces for Flute with piano accompaniment, then a piece for solo flute and a piece with electronic backing.
It is also the culmination of my four years spent honing my craft at WAAPA.
Music that can be found at the end of a long journey (or path) in music history and also the end of my undergrad degree. The end of this path (but also the start of the next one).
