Quiet Mind ~ Open Heart is the culmination of more than fifteen years of practice, friendship and creative collaboration between Stuart Watkins, Cameron Watkins and Matthew Hatch.
At the heart of the evening is a simple intention: to create the conditions for the mind to become quiet, the body to soften, and something deeper to become available.
Stuart and Cam bring together a potent and comprehensive approach to Yoga — weaving movement, breath, meditation and contemplative practice into an experience that moves gradually from the physical into the subtle.
Matthew Hatch will create the live musical landscape for the evening, responding to the practice as it unfolds. Rather than music simply accompanying the Yoga, the soundscape becomes part of the practice itself — spacious, immersive and intentionally crafted to support the movement of attention, breath and energy.
And for the first time, Quiet Mind ~ Open Heart moves outdoors.
Set within the extraordinary natural amphitheatre of Bold Park’s Quarry Amphitheatre, surrounded by limestone cliffs, open sky and the energy of spring, this feels like the perfect place for the next expression of something we’ve been exploring together for many years.
