About this Event
Meet people, make things and see what happens.
PVTV Creative Meet-Ups are free, informal monthly sessions for adults in Liverpool who want to make things with other people, try out ideas and get involved in collaborative creative projects.
Every session is different. Depending on what the group is working on, we might be making puppets or miniature sets, developing a short film, writing or storyboarding, experimenting with sound, making props or zines, building an installation, or trying something completely new.
Some projects develop over several sessions. Other activities might only last an evening. You can join something already happening, bring an idea into the mix, or simply come along and see what interests you.
Do I need experience?
No. Creative Meet-Ups are open to beginners as well as artists, filmmakers, writers, performers, makers and anyone who is creatively curious.
You don't need to arrive with a project, know anybody already, or have any particular technical skills.
Is it a workshop?
No. These aren't formal classes or networking events.
There may sometimes be people demonstrating techniques, sharing skills or helping with a particular activity, but the emphasis is on experimenting, collaborating and making things together in a friendly, low-pressure environment.
You're welcome to come once or become a regular.
Do I need to book?
No. Booking isn't required and you're welcome to just turn up.
Free RSVPs simply help us get an idea of numbers and plan space and materials.
