🐾 Purrs for a Purpose: Reiki-Infused Sound Bath Rescue Kittens fundraiser for Bobbie's Street Cats
Relax. Restore. Cuddle. Make a Difference.
What if a little self-care could help change the lives of cats and the people who care for them?
Join us for a heartwarming experience combining a soothing sound bath with Kirsten Korot, gentle Reiki energy healing with Kelli Kendal, and all the playful kitten cuddles and purrs your heart can handle!
This special gathering is a fundraiser benefiting Bobbie's Street Cats, supporting their mission to prevent cat homelessness through accessible spay and neuter services in underserved Los Angeles communities.
Large portion of your ticket directly benefits Bobbie's Street Cats, helping create lasting change for cats and the people who love them.
I've added the final 30-minute patio gathering to your Eventbrite description, highlighting the opportunity to connect with fellow cat lovers, meet the founder of Bobbie's Street Cats, and learn about kitten adoption.
🐱 A Little Kitten Love, A Lot of Heart
Imagine relaxing to the beautiful vibrations of crystal singing bowls, gentle chimes, and other healing instruments while adorable rescue kittens explore, play, snuggle beside you, or perhaps choose your lap for a little nap.
We'll begin with time to meet, cuddle, and connect with our furry little guests before settling into a soothing Reiki-infused sound bath. The kittens will be free to roam and share their playful energy and sweet purrs throughout the experience.
Our rescue kittens will also be available for adoption! You might just meet your new furry soulmate.
Whether you're a devoted cat lover, new to sound healing, or simply craving a little joy and relaxation, this is your invitation to unwind, recharge, and fill your heart.
✨ Your Experience Includes
- Sound Bath with Kirsten Korot: A restorative journey featuring crystal singing bowls, chimes, and other beautiful sound healing instruments.
- Reiki Energy Healing with Kelli Kendal: Gentle Reiki energy and heart-centered intentions to encourage relaxation, balance, and connection.
- Kitten Cuddles & Playtime: Enjoy precious moments with adorable rescue kittens before and during your sound bath.
- Patio Sips & Social Time: Connect with fellow cat lovers over light refreshments during our final 30 minutes.
- Meet the Founder of Bobbie's Street Cats: Learn more about their community programs and ask questions about adopting a kitten if you've met your furry soulmate!
🌿 Patio Purrs, Sips & Connection
During the final 30 minutes, we'll gather on the patio for light sips and a relaxed mix-and-mingle with fellow cat lovers.
This is also your opportunity to meet the founder of Bobbie's Street Cats, hear more about the meaningful work they're doing in Los Angeles communities, and discover how their programs are helping both cats and the people who care for them.
And if one of our adorable kittens has captured your heart, you'll have the chance to ask questions about the adoption process and what it takes to welcome a new furry family member into your home.
A little community, a little conversation, and a whole lot of heart!

Bobbie’s Street Cats is a 501(c)(3) dedicated to curbing overpopulation and reducing suffering in South Central Los Angeles. Through targeted Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) of community cats and the rescue of friendly adults and kittens along the way, we’ve fixed 3,700 cats and rescued 1,300 to date. Our mission is simple: to spay our way to a more humane LA.
❤️ Every rescued kitten deserves a loving home. But what if we could help prevent future generations of kittens from ever experiencing homelessness?
That's the heart of Bobbie's Street Cats.
While rescue and adoption save individual lives, this grassroots nonprofit is addressing the root cause of cat overpopulation by making spay and neuter services accessible to underserved communities throughout Los Angeles.
For many families facing financial hardship, getting their cats spayed or neutered isn't always easy. Transportation challenges, lost wages, and limited resources can make even free services difficult to access.
Bobbie's Street Cats helps remove these barriers through free, compassionate, judgment-free support, including transportation assistance, loaner carriers, appointment coordination, and community education.
Their mission goes beyond helping cats. It's about empowering people to care for the animals they love while breaking the cycle of cat homelessness.
