🪔 Diwali Sankirtan with Raas Leela Kirtana

A Heart-Opening Celebration of Sacred Sound, Light & Community

Presented by

Join us for a beautiful afternoon of sacred music, spiritual connection, and community as we celebrate Diwali, the Festival of Lights, with and special guests from the community!

On November 7, 2026, gather with us for a heart-opening celebration honoring the light within us all. This special event will also serve as the kickoff celebration for Raas Leela Kirtana’s Heart of Bhakti — Northern California Fall Tour 2026, bringing the transformative power of devotional music to communities throughout Northern California.

✨ The Power of Diwali & Kirtan

Diwali is a timeless celebration of light overcoming darkness, wisdom overcoming ignorance, and the triumph of good over evil. It invites us to reconnect with the inner light that shines within every heart and to share that light with the world around us.

In the Bhakti Yoga tradition, Kirtan is a practice of awakening the heart through sacred sound, mantra, and devotional singing. Through the collective chanting of divine names, we create a space for meditation, healing, joy, and spiritual connection. When we come together in Sankirtan—the practice of communal, call-and-response chanting—our individual voices unite in a shared expression of love, peace, and devotion.

Just as a single flame can illuminate a dark room, every sincere act of love, every mantra chanted with an open heart, and every moment of genuine connection can contribute to a brighter, more compassionate world.

By gathering in the spirit of Diwali and raising our voices together through sacred music, we aspire to cultivate peace within ourselves, strengthen the bonds of community, and share uplifting vibrations that ripple outward into the world. The transformation we wish to see on our planet begins with the light we nurture within our own hearts.

Whether you are an experienced practitioner of Kirtan or discovering this beautiful tradition for the first time, you are warmly invited to participate. No musical experience is necessary—just bring an open heart and a willingness to share in the joy of sacred sound.

🙏 A Special Satsang with Bhakti Marga Monks

We are honored to welcome monks from the Bhakti Marga Long Beach Temple community for a special Satsang before the Kirtan.

Satsang is a gathering in the company of spiritual seekers to share wisdom, deepen our understanding, and nourish our connection to the Divine. This special collaboration brings together spiritual fellowship and devotional music in the spirit of unity, devotion, and shared spiritual inspiration.

Following the Satsang, Raas Leela Kirtana will lead an uplifting Sankirtan experience, weaving traditional bhajans, sacred mantras, and contemporary devotional sounds into an immersive celebration of the heart.

🌱 Diwali Plant-Based Fellowship Potluck

We will conclude our gathering with a plant-based community potluck, offering an opportunity to share nourishing food, connect with fellow seekers, and celebrate the beauty of community.

Please bring a plant-based dish to share if you are able, and join us in creating a welcoming space of generosity, friendship, and conscious living.
