Chippenham was first awarded Purple Flag status by the Association of Town Centre Management (ATCM) in 2016 in recognition of its excellent evening and night-time economy. Town stakeholders have worked diligently in retaining this accreditation for the past 10 years. Chippenham Town Council, being one of the smallest towns in the UK to attain this tremendous achievement, is hosting this business breakfast event.
We will be celebrating this prestigious award for the Evening & Night-Time Economy with guest speakers, Wiltshire Police, Chief Constable, Catherine Roper and then Mike King, People & Places Insight giving the results of the 2026 Evening & Night Time Public Perception Survey / Footfall & Benchmarking results.
