Our usual top selection on the mighty Reaction Soundsystem, this month with very special guest coming all the way from Wakefield! Bosh is a producer and DJ with over 2 decades of experience, blending Dub Reggae and Dubstep into a unique, bass-heavy sound. His live performances feature high-energy live Dub mixing using a custom-built console. A core member of Soundpower Soundsystem, Bosh channels influences from artists like Iration Steppas and Rusko to deliver lively Dubwise sets filled with original music, tunes from friends, and some sneaky anthems, all designed to make you bounce and skank.
Pubdub launched in 2015 at the Chemic Tavern, providing low entry-fee or free dances to Leeds community of bass lovers. It is run by a team of volunteers so proceeds are put back into community causes. The last few years have seen £500 donated to Camfed (Campaign for Female Education). Also £400 donated to support Hyde Park Unity Day.
The Reaction Soundsystem Crew have been putting on dances around the Leeds area for nearly 20 years. The handbuilt Reaction Soundsystem is known throughout the dub scene for crystal clear, hifi quality sound and chest rattling heavyweight bass. The rig has travelled all over the country for festivals, free parties and community centres, with the Reaction DJs providing only positive vibes.
