About this Event
Hello,
Following the success of last year’s inaugural Psychometrics Fest, we’re delighted to invite you to Psychometrics Fest 2026. The theme this year is Innovation through Validation.
We will focus on best practice in creating bespoke psychometrics and validating existing and new assessments.
We’re bringing together psychometricians, practitioners, industrial and organisational (I/O) psychologists, academic researchers, HR and L&D professionals, and people analytics specialists, all with extensive experience in designing, developing and validating assessments.
The aim of the day is to share knowledge, learn from one another and explore how closer collaboration with colleagues across different fields can lead to better assessments and practice.
Together, we’ll discuss how to advance both the science and practice of psychometrics, ensuring our assessments remain scientifically robust, practically relevant and genuinely valuable for the people and organisations that use them.
The programme will be packed with case studies and practical examples of bespoke assessments developed and validated across a range of industries, for both selection and development. We’ll also have plenty of opportunities for group discussion, interactive activities and sharing ideas and experiences, giving everyone the chance to connect and learn from one another.
We’ll explore how new technologies, richer and more diverse datasets, and ongoing validation can help us continuously refine and improve assessments.
We look forward to bringing the community together for a day of learning, discussion and collaboration!
