About the venue: A live-music cocktail bar on Archer Street, rated 3.4 from around 950 reviews and mid-priced. It opens at 4pm and runs to 1am Monday to Thursday, and is closed on Sundays. The format is distinctive: performers sing throughout the evening, which reviewers overwhelmingly praise but which does make sustained conversation harder than in a standard bar. Reservations are recommended, and reviews raise recurring concerns about door staff and about table allocation for larger groups — worth confirming the seating plan in writing when booking for a group.
Getting there: About as central as London gets. Piccadilly Circus is a two-minute walk, on the Piccadilly and Bakerloo lines; Leicester Square and Oxford Circus are both under ten minutes, putting the venue within reach of the Central, Victoria, Northern and Elizabeth lines. Charing Cross and Tottenham Court Road are a short walk for mainline and Elizabeth line services. Driving is not advisable — the venue sits inside the Congestion Charge zone, and the nearest car park, NCP Soho at Brewer Street, is a minute away but small, poorly reviewed and awkward to book.
