Master PRF & Regenerative Techniques
Returning to London for the 5th edition
Join Dr Joseph Choukroun for an immersive learning experience that goes beyond PRF.
You will explore regenerative biology and the clinical applications of PRF in implant dentistry and oral surgery from the pioneer of Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF)
Combining evidence-based teaching with extensive hands-on training, the course covers PRF preparation, Sticky Bone techniques, bone and soft tissue regeneration, and the biological principles underlying healing and implant success.
Explore the latest developments in PRF, including PRF Ocean, guided open-wound healing and chairside inflammatory assessment. Through practical exercises and expert-led discussions, you will develop a deeper understanding of regenerative protocols and their applications in clinical practice.
▼ Module 1 – PRF & Advanced Regenerative Techniques
- Latest developments in PRF, including PRF Ocean and the principles of PRF salting.
- Blood collection techniques and PRF preparation using PomPac: clots, membranes, plugs, patches, punched PRF and liquid PRF.
- Biology of wound healing, growth factors and the science behind platelet-rich fibrin.
- Clinical applications of PRF in socket preservation, sinus lifts, bone grafting, soft tissue management and immediate loading.
- Guided open-wound healing, immediate implant placement and management of soft tissue deficiencies.
▼ Module 2 – Bone Management, Peri-implantitis & Inflammatory Assessment
- Osteo-immunology: the immune system's role in bone formation and resorption.
- Biomaterial selection based on biological response and strategies to minimise oxidative stress.
- Sticky Bone techniques and their role in bone regeneration.
- Suture protocols for soft tissue healing, tension-free closure and increasing keratinised tissue.
- Implant placement in grafted bone.
- Peri-implantitis as an immune-mediated disease: mechanisms and strategies for managing peri-implant bone loss.
- Inflammatory indexes: calculation, interpretation and their role in patient assessment.
- Introduction to the LINKOR chairside device and its use in inflammatory assessment.
▼ Module 3 - Hands-On Training
- Live phlebotomy and blood-drawing practice in pairs.
- Preparation of PRF membranes, plugs, liquid PRF and other PRF formats.
- PRF Ocean preparation.
- Sticky Bone preparation and application in extraction sockets and bone grafting procedures.
- Hands-on blood testing using the LINKOR device.
- Calculation and interpretation of inflammatory indexes using results available in approximately 15 minutes.
