Praise in Pink is an unforgettable celebration of faith, movement, survivorship and community.
This is not a competition.
It is a showcase and a celebration created to honor breast cancer survivors, those currently fighting, families, caregivers and the loved ones whose lives have been forever changed by breast cancer.
Through praise dance, worship and storytelling, performers will use movement to celebrate strength, remember those we've lost and remind every survivor that her story matters.
A PERSONAL MESSAGE FROM FOUNDER BARRYNE “MZB” RICHARDSON
Breast cancer isn't just a cause close to my heart—it is part of my story.
I was diagnosed with breast cancer at 13 weeks pregnant. At six months pregnant, I underwent a mastectomy.
My baby was born healthy and is now 3 years old.
And through that journey, dance remained a part of me.
I've been dancing since I was a child, and I believe there is something powerful about being able to worship through movement—even when life has given you reasons to stop.
Praise in Pink was born from that place.
A place of faith.
A place of survival.
A place of remembrance.
A place of celebration.
