Get creative at Zennoni tearoom and hand paint your very own ceramic Decorations/ornaments in time for the festive season. Guided by artist Rebecca, this workshop will help you relax and slow down while getting creative with underglaze paints.
A fun and relaxing pottery painting workshop at the lovely Zennoni cafe based in Deptford. Sip herbal tea while painting your very own festive decorations. Each ornament has been lovingly handmade by Rebecca with stoneware clay ready to be painted by you. You will have the choice to paint up to 3 decorations and there will different shapes to choose from.
Rebecca will guide you as you learn to paint with underglazes and create beautiful hand painted decorations and ornaments. You will be joining the workshop with other like minded creatives.
All painting materials, handmade ceramic decorations & inspiration will be provided. Please also feel free to bring along inspiration pics and ideas of designs/colours/patterns you would like to paint.
Once painted, Rebecca will glaze and fire your piece in the kiln ready for you to pick up directly from Zennoni tearoom. (Please allow up to 2 weeks for pieces to be fired and glazed.)
You will end up with your own beautiful hand painted piece of functional pottery for you to enjoy.
Tea, food and bakes can be purchased from the tearoom.
