About this Event
Portland, this week we're hosting our third annual bonfire party on Sauvie Island! Meet us at on Saturday, October 24th at 4pm to meet new people in person.
We'll have games, s'mores, and a bonfire going in a private space near the corn maze. Everyone wears color-coded stickers to show if they're single (and if you're queer or straight) and if they're there to meeting new friends too.
Here’s how it works:
Everyone gets a yellow happy face sticker. If you’re not dating, taken, or just there to support your single friends, the yellow smiley lets people know you’re here to socialize.
If you’re single and open to meeting someone, you can add a color-coded sticker to show who you date - men, women, or everyone.
Come solo or bring friends,. All ages, genders, and orientations are welcome.
What to expect:
- A structured group mixer and lawn games around the fire (feel free to bring your own games too!)
- A scavenger hunt to get you out into the pumpkin patch and farm
- Light snacks, s’mores, and non-alcoholic drinks provided
- Seasonal food + drink vendors available on-site (beer, cider, and festival foods)
- The farm closes at 6:00 so get there before 4:00 if you'd like to do the corn "maize" before you join us at the bonfire space
- Dress cozy and prepare for October weather - the farm is unpaved so mud-friendly shoes are recommended :)
