About this Event
À partir de différents modèles sur le thème de l’Halloween et des livres, vous apprendrez à créer des pop-ups simples et amusants, puis à les personnaliser à votre façon. Kate Battle sera sur place pour vous montrer les différentes techniques et vous aider à réaliser vos créations.
Tout le matériel est fourni et aucune expérience préalable n’est nécessaire.
L’atelier est ouvert à tous les âges : venez seul.e, entre ami.e.s ou en famille !
Il s’agit d’un atelier libre : vous pouvez arriver et repartir à tout moment entre 15 h 30 et 17 h 30, ou bien rester pour toute la durée de l’atelier.
À propos de notre animatrice :
Kate Battle est artiste du livre et animatrice d’ateliers artistiques. Les livres d’artiste, les structures de reliure non traditionnelles et les pop-ups sont au cœur de sa pratique. Depuis plus de 20 ans, elle anime des ateliers de création dans les écoles, les bibliothèques et lors d’événements culturels. Passionnée par les langues, elle animera cet atelier en français, en anglais et en allemand.

Using various Halloween and book-themed templates, you'll learn to create simple and fun pop-ups, then personalize them to your liking. Kate Battle will be there to demonstrate different techniques and help you bring your creations to life.
All materials are provided and no prior experience is necessary.
The workshop is open to all ages: come alone, with friends, or with family!
This is a drop-in workshop: you can arrive and leave at any time between 3:30 pm and 5:30 pm, or stay for the entire duration of the workshop.
About our facilitator:
Kate Battle is a book artist and art workshop facilitator. Artist's books, unconventional binding structures, and pop-ups are central to her practice. For over 20 years, she has led creative workshops in schools, libraries, and at cultural events. Passionate about languages, she will lead this workshop in French, English, and German.

Dies ist ein offener Workshop: Sie können jederzeit zwischen 15:30 Uhr und 17:30 Uhr ankommen und gehen oder für die gesamte Dauer des Workshops bleiben.

Kate Battle ist Buchkünstlerin und Workshopleiterin. Künstlerbücher, unkonventionelle Bindungen und Pop-up-Bücher stehen im Mittelpunkt ihrer Arbeit. Seit über 20 Jahren leitet sie kreative Workshops in Schulen, Bibliotheken und bei Kulturveranstaltungen. Ihre Leidenschaft für Sprachen spiegelt sich auch darin wider, dass sie diesen Workshop auf Französisch, Englisch und Deutsch anbietet.
