About this Event
Police Scotland’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Officers for the North East will deliver a Hate Crime Awareness workshop at The Nook, Aberdeen.
The session will explain what hate crime is, how to report it, and what support is available. Attendees can also ask questions and discuss concerns in a safe environment.
The workshop aims to reduce barriers to reporting and improve awareness of available support.
The Nook offers drop-in mental health support in a safe, stigma-free and non-clinical environment – without the need for an appointment.
Walk in support hubs where anyone can visit to speak about mental health, The Nooks will provide visitors with access to support for themselves, or people they care about.
Our first Nooks are now open in Glasgow’s Merchant City and in Marischal Square, Aberdeen. Our skilled and compassionate staff are ready to support you, seven days a week.
The Nook is a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment. When visiting/participating I agree to treat everyone facilitating and attending this event with respect. I understand that inappropriate, disruptive, or abusive behaviour may result in me being asked to leave and may affect my ability to attend future events.
