About this Event
Calling all trainers! Celebrate 30 years of Pokémon by swapping cards and making new friends at this Cherry Tree Lane trading event.
We’re inviting Pokémon collectors age 6–16 to come and try to catch them all! Bring your collection and your wishlist, and enter the trade room to swap cards and make new friends.
The trade room is a kid-only space—no parents allowed! Our Card Boss Eric will be on hand to make sure trades are fair, and to answer any questions collectors may have.
Each participant will receive two packs of Pokémon cards to kick off the event.
Pokémon Trade Days DOs and DON’Ts
DO:
- Value cards based on what YOU like and the rarity of the cards.
- Have a system to keep track of your cards. Good options include a binder for cards, or a box with dividers or rubber bands.
- Say no if you don’t want to agree to a trade.
- Listen to the Card Boss’s ruling when he makes a call.
- Wait for someone to finish their trading before you ask them to trade with you.
- Respect the order in which others approach you, and in which others approach someone you want to trade with.
- Have fun!
DON’T:
- Go back on your completed trade, even if you change your mind. This is an essential rule of trading!
- Raise your voice, gang up with others, or nag someone into trading with you. No bullying will be tolerated!
- Value cards by how much money they’re supposed to be worth.
- Offer cash for a card. This is a trade-only event!
Registration is per child, per day. Your ticket gets you admission into the trade room and two packs of Pokémon cards.
