Are you a writer who loves astrology, tarot, or woo? Curious as to how a wildly sensitive sense of spiritual energy opens you up to the world? Well, then, this workshop is for you!
Join poets Sanna Wani and Victoria Mbabazi in the Crystal Room of Happy Soul (961 Bloor St W) for an afternoon exploring the connections between poetry and woo, sometimes also called New Age spirituality.
This workshop is open to everyone—from witchy beginners, to spiritual intermediates, and simply whoever is curious! You’re invited to bring your writing tools, birth chart, tarot decks, or anything else that helps you feel connected to yourself, your practice, or the spirit world.
Together, we’ll ground ourselves in meditation, read and discuss a few poems, and explore the ways intuition, ritual, and synchronicity can shape writing. We’ll close with guided writing prompts and an opportunity to share.
