Plant Hunter is a mature, London five-piece making lyrical, melodic songs about our relationship with the Earth, ourselves and each other. Their sound moves from hushed indie-folk ballads to full-bodied alternative rock, carried by songs that aim to leave a mark. Expect heartfelt, grown-up songwriting from a band that means every word. Check out our songs at https://planthunter.band/Instead of a conventional gig, the show weaves in the stories behind the songs.
Founded by songwriter Paul Riches (vocals, guitar), the band brings together Mick Hutchings (guitar), Dave Gallagher (bass, vocals), Peter Manning (drums, vocals) and Rebecca Turner (keys, vocals). With four voices in the line-up, the harmonies are as much a part of the sound as the instruments.
