About this Event

is coming back to Silicon Valley!

For one weekend only, pianos will pop up across the Bay Area—in homes, on campuses, in parks, and right here at the EcoCenter! Join local pianist Susan Lin for an unforgettable afternoon where music meets nature. Experience a live performance surrounded by the beauty of the Baylands, then step outside for an EV guided sunset walk through the preserve.

About the EcoCenter

Located in the heart of the Palo Alto Baylands Nature Preserve, the EcoCenter is a regional hub for nature and science exploration for all ages. A historic landmark with its distinctive Nautical Moderne architecture, the EcoCenter was originally constructed in the 1940s as a base for the Sea Scouts. Today, it serves as a thriving public nature center and community education resource as the headquarters of Environmental Volunteers. Visitors will find plenty to explore: from hands-on activities and interactive displays, to green building features and rotating art exhibits, there is always something new to discover at the EcoCenter.

About Environmental Volunteers

Environmental Volunteers has inspired people of all ages for over 50 years to learn about the wonders of the natural world. We train volunteers to bring over 20,000 immersive science and nature-based experiences to K-6 students each year. Through field trips and programs in the classroom, in the community, and at the EcoCenter, we grow students’ environmental awareness, connect kids and adults to the outdoors, and instill a desire to protect Earth’s beauty and natural resources.
