About this Event

An evening that makes a difference.

Join us for Wags & Wishes, an intimate evening bringing together leaders in veterinary medicine, business, philanthropy, and animal welfare to support families caring for pets with chronic, life-threatening illnesses.

Good Friends. Great Conversations. Greater Impact.

Managing a chronic illness often means years of medications, specialist appointments, diagnostic testing, and ongoing treatment. Many pets can live long, fulfilling lives with the right care, but the financial and emotional demands can become overwhelming. Chronic illness is not a single veterinary bill. It is an ongoing commitment.

Diesel's FootPrint helps ensure financial hardship does not become a barrier to continued treatment. Our programs include veterinary care financial assistance, cooperative care training assistance, and caregiver support groups and resources, all for families in Santa Clara County and beyond.

What to expect

  • A beautifully prepared seated dinner paired with local wines
  • Featured talks from leading veterinary specialists

Why this evening matters

Diesel was diagnosed with Addison's disease before his first birthday, and more conditions followed over nearly eight years of care. Diesel's FootPrint was founded in July 2025 by Certified Dog Trainer Kaajal Tiwary, so that families caring for a chronically ill dog or cat can keep their companion at home, where they belong.

Every ticket and sponsorship supports that work.
