Think you know who makes the best Jollof Rice? Now's your chance to decide!
- Purchase a Jollof Tasting Ticket
- Taste Jollof Rice prepared by chefs representing Nigeria, Ghana, Liberia, Senegal, Guinea, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, and more.
- Score each Jollof on a scale of 1–10, with 10 being the highest.
- Your votes, combined with our guest judges' scores, will help crown the 2026 Philadelphia African Restaurant Week Jollof Champion.

WHAT IS JOLLOF TASTING COMPETITION VOTE?
Chef competition where attendees vote for their best tasting Jollof rice dish.
WHAT TYPE OF FOOD OPTIONS WOULD BE AVAILABLE?
Food would be available for sale by chefs/caterers. Event would include cuisine from parts of Africa, Caribbean and African-American.
WHAT IS THE AFRICAN RESTAURANT WEEK FESTIVAL?
It is an with vendors and entrepreneurs (food, design, beauty, fashion, art, health, representing various parts of the diaspora come to sell, mix and network. It is an opportunity for all attendees to experience a unique and curated cultural market in a festive environment.
As part of the week from July 16 - 26 African/African-American/Caribbean restaurants are providing special offerings & discounts.
African Restaurant Week is an opportunity to come together to celebrate the food and culture of the African/Black Diaspora and support the various local restaurants/small businesses. (Food, Culture, Community)
