About this Event
Crossroads Campus understands that our bonds with animals are among the most meaningful connections in our lives. When a beloved companion dies, the grief can be profound. Yet the loss is often minimized or misunderstood, resulting in unresolved grief.
As part of our commitment to honoring the Human Animal Bond, we are offering grief support groups for people who are navigating the loss of an animal companion. Groups will provide a safe space to share stories, honor memories, and learn tools to support coping and healing.
Groups will be facilitated by Stacy Mendell, LCSW, Animal Assisted Social Worker, Certified Pet Loss Support Specialist, & Larkin Willis, BSW, MSSW, and Veterinary Social Work Candidate, intern at Crossroads Campus
