Decolonization & Liberation: A Revolutionary Approach to Freedom
Join us for an insightful and empowering event on Decolonization and Liberation, inspired by the revolutionary ideas of Frantz Fanon. This event will explore strategies for breaking free from the systems of colonialism, neocolonialism, and exploitation that continue to affect the Global South today.
We'll discuss 50 revolutionary solutions that can pave the way for real, lasting freedom through:
Armed resistance and political struggle to dismantle colonial systems.
Cultural reclamation through language, art, and education that reject colonial influences.
Psychological liberation to heal from the trauma of oppression.
Economic independence by building self-sufficient, community-driven economies.
Political transformation to ensure the voice of the people leads the way, not post-colonial elites.
This event will focus on practical, real-world solutions, emphasizing grassroots movements and solidarity among oppressed nations to dismantle all forms of colonial control—whether economic, cultural, or political.
We invite activists, community leaders, students, and anyone passionate about fighting for justice to come together for a day of learning, sharing, and action. Together, we can build a future of freedom and equality.
Let’s reclaim our land, culture, and dignity. Let’s rise for decolonization!

50 solutions to address colonial oppression, psychological liberation, and true decolonization.
1–10: Decolonization & Revolutionary Strategy
Organize armed and political resistance movements to overthrow colonial rule.
Unite rural peasants and urban workers to form a revolutionary front.
Disrupt colonial economic systems by reclaiming land and resources.
Dismantle colonial police and military structures and replace them with people’s militias.
Develop grassroots leadership instead of relying on elites.
Reject foreign-imposed borders and reconnect indigenous communities.
Encourage direct democracy and local governance structures.
Revolutionary education programs should teach history from an anti-colonial perspective.
Expose and combat neocolonial influence from multinational corporations.
Use revolutionary violence strategically to dismantle oppressive systems, not replace one elite with another.
11–20: Psychological Liberation & Cultural Reclamation
Promote indigenous languages and make them central to national identity.
Replace colonial education curricula with Afrocentric, Indigenous, or other decolonized knowledge.
Support decolonized mental health programs to address colonial trauma.
Reject colonial beauty standards and celebrate indigenous aesthetics.
Fund decolonized art, music, and literature to rebuild cultural pride.
Teach revolutionary history to inspire self-determination in future generations.
Challenge colonial religious structures and reclaim indigenous spiritual traditions.
Create independent media outlets to counter neocolonial propaganda.
Reclaim land names and remove colonial figures from public spaces.
Ensure women’s liberation is central to anti-colonial struggles, not an afterthought.
21–30: Economic Decolonization
Seize land from former colonizers and redistribute it to the people.
Reject reliance on colonial currencies and establish independent financial systems.
Nationalize key industries like agriculture, energy, and mining.
Promote worker cooperatives instead of capitalist enterprises.
Establish community-based economies focused on self-sufficiency.
Invest in indigenous agricultural knowledge to replace exploitative cash-crop systems.
Boycott foreign corporations that exploit post-colonial nations.
Tax foreign investors heavily or ban them from critical sectors.
Create trade alliances with other formerly colonized nations to reduce Western dependence.
Promote local manufacturing to end economic reliance on the Global North.
31–40: Political Transformation & Anti-Neocolonialism
Dismantle colonial bureaucratic institutions and create people-driven governance.
Limit the power of post-colonial elites to prevent neocolonial corruption.
Develop pan-African, pan-Indigenous, or global South alliances to resist Western control.
Replace colonial legal systems with indigenous and participatory justice models.
Abolish Western-led development models and create alternative economic frameworks.
Demand reparations from colonial powers to rebuild societies.
End reliance on Western aid and develop self-sustaining infrastructure.
Control domestic resources rather than allowing foreign companies to extract wealth.
Ensure political education for all citizens to prevent new forms of oppression.
Encourage international solidarity movements to support decolonization.
41–50: Continued Struggle & Future Visions
Revolutionize healthcare systems to serve oppressed communities first.
Develop independent universities that reject Western academic supremacy.
Train leaders who come from the oppressed class, not Western-educated elites.
Create community defense groups to prevent new forms of imperialism.
Abolish colonial military traditions and create people-centered defense forces.
Enforce wealth redistribution policies to prevent a new capitalist elite from emerging.
Support youth-led movements to maintain revolutionary momentum.
Build alliances with oppressed groups worldwide (e.g., Palestine, Indigenous struggles, Black liberation).
Recognize that decolonization is ongoing and must evolve with new forms of oppression.
Commit to permanent revolutionary vigilance to prevent new colonial structures from forming.
