Permaculture Volunteer Event: Arts Xchange

Shades of Green Permaculture is hosting a volunteer day as part of our Community Giveback Program to support the implementation of a regenerative landscape design at ArtsXchange, a fully integrated artist colony and community arts center in Atlanta.

Volunteers will work alongside SOG’s EcoLawns team and ArtsXchange partners on hands-on site preparation tasks, including:

• Removing bermuda sod and landscape fabric
• Weeding and checking plant health
• Turning existing woodchips and mulch
• Light mulching (as needed)
• Planting cover crops
• Stabilizing soil for future project phases
