You thought you already knew enough about the Balkans; or simply never bothered to learn anything about it?
You’re not to blame as the images you had encountered were mostly those of war atrocities, too many historical references, ongoing crime with much corruption and not so much teeth. Yes, there is also beautiful nature there, delicious cuisine and the upbeat music…
However, is there anything funny at all about it? Well, here’s a chance for you to find out! Delivered in a hour-long show by one of their natives, in a manner best described by its slogan: Filthy Mouth. Clean Heart. Balkan Brain!
Doors are 6.30pm, show starts at 7pm
About Pedja:
I’ve had my performances in 50+ different countries, both in the Balkans and overseas. My goal s to perform in every European country (currently only two shy from total) and every continent (still to do South America… and OK – Antarctica, I guess). I’m the first stand-up comedian from this part of the world to participate at an international competition: the prestigious Seattle International Comedy Competition (2012) and later on at the equally sexy Funniest Person in the World (2016). Did I make it far? Are you kidding?! You must be a comedian yourself! No? Then do not joke about it as I’m a bit touchy on that subject… Most recently, in 2’24 I had a 8-days un at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, whilst in 2022 I got invited to the inaugural World Comedy Expo in Chicago.
Tickets are:
