About the Event
Join SPCUNY and Korea Art Forum for Practicing Socially Engaged Public Art, a panel discussion exploring how artists, educators, and cultural practitioners approach public art through the lens of social engagement.
Moderated by Gregory Sholette, the conversation will consider how socially engaged art operates across public space, participation, community collaboration, and cultural practice, while reflecting on the relationships among artists, audiences, institutions, and place.
The panel brings together artists and practitioners whose work engages participation, public dialogue, and socially responsive forms of art-making.
