“Outstanding vocals… Rose hits that jazz & soul sweet spot with Wayne De La Cruz and Hammond Organ Party!” — DownBeat
Vocalist Pamela Rose and Hammond B-3 organist Wayne De La Cruz visit with their Hammond Organ Party!, a celebration of all things soul, with Rose and her top-shelf ensemble romping through rare jazz standards, blues, and R&B classics.
Joined by guitarist Danny Caron (Charles Brown, Bonnie Raitt) and drummer Mark Lee, this loose and limber ensemble brings a party atmosphere, soul-drenched vocals, and a deeply swinging groove to both originals and standard jazz and blues repertoire.
Pamela Rose is a San Francisco jazz and blues vocalist who has thrilled audiences locally and internationally with her swinging, soulful style for decades. From small clubs to large festivals, she always brings the fire, working with an elite group of superb headliners and musicians.
Rose has released eight recordings under her name, is on the faculty of the Jazzschool in Berkeley, and frequently tours, teaches, and sings in the Bay Area.
