What does music look like?Join us for two relaxed painting workshops exploring how rhythm, sound and emotion can become colour, marks and form.
We’ll look at how artists have responded to music, experiment with different ways of translating what we hear into paint, and develop expressive paintings of our own.
Each session explores a different musical world:
🎷 Jazz — Tuesday 6 October, 10am–12pm
Respond to rhythm, improvisation and spontaneity through expressive marks, colour and movement.
🎻 Classical — Tuesday 13 October, 10am–12pm
Explore structure, repetition, harmony and atmosphere through painting.
Come to one session or experience both. No painting experience is needed — the emphasis is on experimenting, noticing and finding your own visual language.
