About this Event
Pop over to Leif Erikson Lodge Kaffestua, and we'll put a brush in one of your hands, and a glass of wine in the other (just to get your creative juices flowing a bit more easily...).
Participants will learn how to make their own "Whispering Woods" masterpiece. All materials are included in registration--including wine and light snacks. Jana will teach you how to paint your very own trees using the "Y" method, as well as how to shadow and highlight. Participants will use impressionistic pointillism techniques to make the leaves! You will go home as an awakened artist—with a painting to show for it!
$35 per person includes paint supplies, wine, and light snacks.

About the artist
Coming from a family of artists and teachers, Jana Peterson, obtained a M.A. in Art Education and has been teaching and painting for over 30 years. Peterson is coming to celebrate her works on display, and to have a little fun making art with YOU.
