Cultures and Family📖 PA Day Camp at Oak Learners: Cultures and Family
Campers will celebrate the traditions, stories, and connections that bind families and communities together, across cultures and the natural world around us.
🌿 Campers will explore how cultures and families pass down wisdom, traditions, and ways of knowing through generations. We'll discover how different cultures understand family, celebrate seasons, and live in relationship with animals and the land. Through storytelling, art, and outdoor observation, campers will learn that "family" and "culture" look different around the world.
🌲Throughout the day, we'll weave in outdoor time to observe animals, plants, and seasons, recognizing that nature is a teacher in every culture.
This day celebrates the families and cultures in our Oak Learners community. Through storytelling, outdoor exploration, and creative activities, campers will connect with each other and discover the many beautiful ways families live, celebrate, and care for one another.
Please dress warmly in layers, with waterproof outerwear, boots, hats, and mittens.
