Join the Uptown Association and the City of Minneapolis for Open Streets Hennepin, a free, family-friendly celebration that temporarily transforms Hennepin Avenue into a vibrant public space for people—not cars.
Walk, bike, roll, shop, eat, play and explore along Hennepin Avenue while connecting with local businesses, artists, nonprofits, community organizations and neighbors.
What to Expect
Open Streets Hennepin will feature:

Hennepin Avenue in Uptown Minneapolis
The event takes place along Hennepin Ave S, with the road closed from W 26th St down to W 36th St. Select cross streets, namely W 28th, Lagoon, and Lake, will remain open.
