On The Landscape: Bighorn Sheep of the East Kootenays comes to Castlegar.
Along the highways of British Columbia's East Kootenay region, Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep are at risk from the roads and railways that cut through their ancestral range. This documentary follows the scientists, First Nations guardians, wildlife managers, and grassroots conservationists fighting to save struggling herds before it's too late.
Presented by the Golden District Rod & Gun Club and the Wild Sheep Society of BC.
What to expect: doors, screening, a Q&A with the filmmakers, and draw prizes throughout the night. Plan for a full evening, roughly two hours doors to finish.
