About this Event
This October, we’re swapping the usual networking event for something a little more hands-on. Come and spend two relaxed hours around the pottery wheel, learning something new, getting creative and connecting with brilliant women from across the network.
No awkward networking. No pottery experience necessary. Just come as you are.
What to expect
Our pottery teacher will guide us through the basics of wheel throwing, taking you step-by-step from preparing and centring your clay to shaping your own piece on the wheel.
Whether you create something beautifully wonky or discover a previously hidden talent, the emphasis is firmly on having fun and giving it a go.
Alongside the pottery, we’ll have food and drinks to enjoy, with plenty of time to chat, laugh and meet other women in the Now You’re Talking network community.
Your ticket includes:
- A two-hour private autumn social with the Now You’re Talking Network
- Guided wheel-throwing pottery experience
- All clay, equipment and tuition during the session
- Food to enjoy during the evening
- Drinks
- Plenty of relaxed networking and conversation
Want to keep your creation?
Any piece you choose to have professionally fired is an additional £10 per piece, payable separately. Once fired, your finished pottery will be microwave- and dishwasher-safe.

Come solo or come with someone from the network — either way, you’ll be welcomed in.
Places are limited because everyone gets their own hands-on pottery experience, so booking early is recommended.
