About this Event
Reinvestment Fund’s Policy Solutions team is bringing together city officials, housing practitioners, community advocates, and data researchers for a full-day convening in Dallas on November 6, 2026.
The agenda builds on a regional set of Market Value Analyses (MVAs) Reinvestment Fund completed in partnership with Dallas, Denton, Irving, Lewisville, and Richardson. Each MVA maps residential real estate markets by Census block group, built using local administrative data and validated with local practitioners. The MVA, like other data-driven approaches, provides insights to policy, programs, and investment decisions.
This convening links data to practice: what the data shows, how peer cities are acting on it, and how this work connects across city lines. Lunch will be provided.
What you'll take away
- A working understanding of what recent housing data shows about your city and about the region as a whole
- Concrete examples of how peer DFW cities are applying market data to housing policy, program design, and investment decisions
- Working time with your peers from cities and organizations from across the region
Who should attend
City and county staff working in housing, planning, and community development; nonprofit housing developers and service providers; CDFIs and other mission lenders; philanthropy; and researchers working on regional housing questions.
