Some artists play funk. Nik West is funk. Explosive, fearless and impossible to look away from, this internationally acclaimed bassist, vocalist and show-woman arrives in Perth for one night only, in what's shaping up to be one of the biggest parties of PIJF 2026 ⚡️
Think seismic bass lines. Towering vocals. Hendrix-worthy guitar. Prince-level swagger. The kind of show that starts with a groove and ends with the whole room moving as one.
Described by Prince as having "great stage presence", Nik West has spent the past decade lighting up stages alongside Prince, Quincy Jones, Santana, Dave Stewart (Eurythmics), John Mayer, Larry Graham, esperanza spalding and Bootsy Collins. Today she's one of the most thrilling live performers in contemporary music, tearing through funk, soul, rock and R&B with breathtaking musicianship and infectious joy.
This isn't a concert you'll politely sit through. It's a Saturday night dance floor… a celebration of groove, a full-throttle live experience where every bass line hits harder than the last 💥
// SUPPORT ACTS //
Pareidolia with Zero Emcee & Razzy Mak open the night, blending jazz, hip-hop and razor-sharp improvisation to set the mood.
Odette Mercy & Her Soul Atomics follow with an irresistible mix of soul, funk and vintage R&B, channeling Motown and Stax before handing the night to Nik West.
One night only. Don't miss your chance to witness a global icon in her element.
