New Year’s Intentions
How can we embrace the energy of the New Year in a positive and nurturing way?
The start of a new year can offer an opportunity to pause, reflect and consider what we would like to invite into our lives. Rather than setting rigid goals or putting pressure on ourselves to make big changes, this supportive workshop will explore how we can set meaningful intentions with kindness, compassion and realistic expectations.
Together, we will create space to reflect on what matters most to us and consider any positive changes we might like to gently work towards in the year ahead.
The workshop will include journal prompts, guided meditation and an opportunity to share reflections within a supportive group space, for those who feel comfortable doing so.
A gentle invitation to begin the year with intention, self-compassion and a renewed sense of what matters to you.
This session is facilitated by Karis, a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist with extensive experience in offering individual and group support. Karis has over a decade of experience of working in trauma-informed services, which has deeply informed her practice and shaped her commitment to facilitating gentle, compassionate and supportive group spaces.
Testemonials from previous sessions:
“Karis is a warm, friendly and inviting facilitator who holds space for participants' reflections very well. The sessions are run at such a nice pace; there is time for self-reflections and to listen to one another, creating an enriching, thought provoking and inspiring experience.”
“I absolutely loved how soft & delicate the session was. Karis does a fantastic job of creating a nurturing space.”
Although this group is facilitated by a qualified therapist, it is a reflective space rather than group therapy.
Please note that the venue is on the first floor and unfortunately there is no lift access.
