About this Event
Our Wednesday walks include a lunchtime pub stop. Requirements for meals from the pub menu are usually requested and ordered before the start of the walk by the leader. Walkers who prefer to take a picnic lunch are welcome to do so and the leader will have a place designated for this somewhere near the pub, in the village, or in the area where we are stopping for lunch.
It is essential that the walk leader has prior knowledge of numbers that will be on this walk. We ask you to complete this very brief form to help with our planning of the walk to ensure that we can safely accommodate all who wish to join us. You will receive an automatic acknowledgement when you submit this form, and also a reminder of the details 2 days before the walk.

Walk description:
This 5 mile Wednesday Winter Ramble starts at the centre of Moseley and enters the private Park. After exploring the park we continue to Cannon Hill where we’ll admire the “Golden Lion” pub, renovated at last, then walk around the park and stop for coffee.
Continuing along side the River Rea to Dad’s Lane we then enter Holder’s Lane wood. Gently climbing up to Highbury Park we explore the arboretum and admire Highbury Hall before making our way to Kings Heath Station and The Station pub for lunch. Distance 5 miles.
There will be an opportunity for a short walk in Highbury Park after lunch - about 1.5 miles
Bookings for this walk will close at 06.00 on Wednesday 6 January . After this, please email [email protected] to enquire about any late availability for the walk.
===================================================================
If you later find that you are unable to join us it would be helpful if you let us know by sending an email to [email protected] - this will be passed on to the walk leader and will prevent any delay to the start of the walk should the leader be waiting for you. Please note that some walks have a waiting list so tickets are NOT TRANSFERABLE; if you are unable to join us then please cancel your place to free it up for someone who may be on the waiting list rather than passing it to someone else.
