Drop-in series with gentle movement exercises to help you care for yourself by exploring how you move, think, feel, and sense.
About this Event

Experience feeling, sensing, moving, and thinking in a whole new way with this unique series of drop-in classes. Each session features gentle movement exercises designed to deepen your awareness of how you MOVE, THINK, FEEL, and SENSE.

Andréa combines three transformative approaches to support personal growth through nervous system regulation:

  • Feldenkrais Method® for movement exploration, helping you unlock ease and freedom in how you move.
  • Somatic Experiencing® to cultivate a deeper connection with the felt sense, grounding you in your body.
  • Authentic Relating to enhance meaningful connection with the world around you and foster a sense of belonging.

Through playful exploration, you’ll develop a range of adaptive responses—including orienting, exploring, and building curiosity—all in a space that encourages enjoyment and discovery. Join us as we create a supportive environment where you can reconnect with yourself, grow, and build resilience.

In the Feldenkrais Method®, we explore gentle, mindful movement patterns to increase body awareness and release chronic tension. We refine our coordination and range of motion by engaging in slow, varied movements such as rolling, reaching, or shifting weight. These subtle practices help reconnect us with the pleasure of movement, support a calm nervous system, and reduce chronic pain or limitations. The benefits of Feldenkrais extend beyond physical ease; participants often find themselves feeling more adaptable, confident, and at ease in daily life.

In Somatic Experiencing®, we work with the body’s felt sense to support the nervous system’s natural ability to regulate. This involves tuning into sensations and allowing the body to process and release stored stress or trauma. Through gentle practices like orienting to the environment, grounding, and noticing internal sensations, we develop resilience and a sense of safety within ourselves. Participants often experience increased emotional stability, less reactivity, and an enhanced ability to handle stress. By cultivating a practice of listening to the body, we create a foundation for well-being and genuine self-connection.
