Montréal, this one is for the ones who dance first and ask questions later. On Saturday, October 10, The Desi Troop presents Yalla Bollywood, an evening where the golden anthems of Bollywood are woven through Arabic melodies, deep house and high-voltage EDM. It's familiar enough to sing along to and fresh enough that you'll hear your favourite song like it's the first time.
Headlining: DJ EXO (Toronto)
From New Delhi to Toronto, DJ EXO has built a reputation for reading a room and then taking it somewhere it didn't expect to go. He's a leading name in Toronto's upscale Bollywood and Indo-house scene, and October 10 is his first night behind the decks in Montréal.
The Venue: Karina's Club Lounge
High above Rue Crescent, on the top floor of the Sir Winston Churchill complex, Karina's pairs leather, wood and marble with candlelit tables and a stage built for nights like this.
