In this class Jamie will teach moms how Chinese Medicine approaches childhood coughs and colds and what parents can do at home to support them. She will also discuss food and lifestyle adjustments your family can make for the fall season to prevent cold and flu.
Class will cover:
- Food and lifestyle changes as preventative medicine
- How Chinese Medicine looks at different cough/cold patterns
- How to treat a wet cough vs. a dry cough
- What you can do at home to support your child when they are sick
- What to do when your kid won't stop coughing and all you wanna do is sleep
- How to deal with coughs that linger for too long
- What is cupping therapy? How to cup your child with suction instead of fire
You will leave class with practical tools you can use at home the next time your child is sick. Class is limited to 12 people with the intention of creating an intimate space for women to gather and ask questions. Come meet other moms, drink tea, eat snacks, and learn.
