About this Event
Actitivy
Join Paul and Ailsa for a gentle walk through Forest Wood Wildlife Reserve. We'll be looking for squirrels and recording these as part of the Great Scottish Squirrel Survey. You'll learn about grey and red squirrels, and how pine martens could help our native red squirrels bounce back in Cumbernauld!
Ailsa, our Advocacy Officer, will be talking about our project's advocacy work and how you can have your say and help wildlife in future development plans.

Cancellation
This event will be weather dependant. If we need to cancel, we will notify all attendees on the morning of the event.
If you can no longer attend the event, please let us know. You can do this by cancelling your ticket, or sending us an email. This allows us to offer the space to someone else, as well as helping us keep track of who to expect, and whether we need to wait for anyone who is running late!
*what3words is the easiest way to find and share precise locations. Traditional street addresses aren’t always accurate enough—especially when it comes to specific meeting spots like entrances, paths, or areas without buildings.
As most of our meeting points will be away from traditional address locations, we recommend using what3words as the primary method for finding us. Simply follow the link above to view our exact meeting point. You can also download the app for free to your phone for quick and easy access when you’re on the move.
