Actitivy
Armed with bat detectors and ID guides, join us and explore Palacerigg Country Park at night! We will take a gentle walk through the park, stopping at locations along the route to look and listen for bats. Discoveries from the evening will contribute to wider research, helping us understand Cumbernauld's resident wildlife!
This session will be run by Joey Baker, one of our Ecological Trainees, and Cumbernauld Living Landscape's bat expert! Joey has been monitoring bats accross Cumbernauld's reserves as part of his recent project.
Extra Info:
- No experience necessary and all equipment provided.
- This is an outdoor event, so please also dress appropriately for the weather and evening tempratures.
- This event is suitable for families with children over 12, under 18’s must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

This event will be weather dependant. If we need to cancel, we will notify all attendees on the morning of the event.
If you can no longer attend the event, please let us know. You can do this by cancelling your ticket, or sending us an email. This allows us to offer the space to someone else, as well as helping us keep track of who to expect, and whether we need to wait for anyone who is running late!
