Local artist SLYORTY teams up with improvisational pianist Brad Minnig to provide an atmosphere of pure alchemical creation!With a full mixed-media art buffet, space to move your body freely, and Brad on the piano anything could happen. What to expect: We start by gathering art supplies from the buffet table and circling together to settle in. From here, the magic begins. There are no plans other than trusting the process of creativity to guide us all as we each make something new- Brad on the piano and the rest of us on the dance floor and in our own art nests, building on the creative offerings of each moment. We don't speak, we don't wear shoes (unless we need to), and we don't judge. We just create. Freely. For an hour. At the end of the hour, we gather together and share what we were moved to create. Some of us cry. Probably Shauna. All supplies are provided. All bodies are welcome. If you want to bring a child, please reach out to Shauna. Some kids are well-suited to this environment and others are not, so let's chat about it if it's important to you. This is a sober event and there are snacks and drinks available for purchase in the cafe before and after the event.
