FREE happy hour, sponsored by the Young Manufacturers Network, at the Lancaster Science Factory for employees and leaders at local manufacturing businesses to learn more about our upcoming, interactive exhibit area, “How People Make Things”. How People Make Things brings manufacturing to life by showing ways in which familiar objects are made. This new exhibit area will be installed in early 2027.
This 1,000 square foot exhibit area will feature hands-on activities that teach visitors about manufacturing based on basic principles of cut, mold, deform, and assemble. The Science Factory is working with our partners at the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh to recreate their “How People Make Things” travelling exhibit for permanent installation at our facility.
Guests at this happy hour can expect to enjoy complimentary drinks and snacks while learning more about the exhibit area, how they can be involved in teaching kids about manufacturing, and to provide insight and ideas for future collaboration and expansion.
